Customer Success: Microsoft aspires to help our customers achieve their own digital transformation, leveraging the power of Microsoft Cloud solutions and support offerings. As a Cloud & AI Solution Architect Manager, you will run a team of Cloud and A.I. Platforms Architects who enable customers to achieve their goals and outcomes - based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your expertise of leading technical teams, you will drive the team to ensure customers get value from their Microsoft investments. You and your team will have responsibility for driving key infrastructure technologies and concepts such as Azure Landing Zones, Architecture Design Sessions, Cloud Migration Efforts, Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD), and plenty more.

Customer Centricity
- Customer Satisfaction - Lead your team to deliver positive Customer Satisfaction, and coach them to become trusted advisors to customers and partners, by leveraging domain expertise to enable defined Customer Success Plan outcomes.
- Customer/Partner Insights: Coach the team to provide feedback & insights from customers/partners back to the relevant MS teams including Product Groups, to enable continuous improvement.
- Manage the consumption business of Solutions and Support to achieve the business goals and deliver customer value: Coach the team to develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results by working with technical decision makers to ensure they understand Microsoft's security value proposition and get value from their investment in the Microsoft technology through deep business understanding of the solution plays and customer scenarios for your solution area
- Accelerate Resolution of Customer Blockers: Coach the team to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects by leveraging technical subject matter expertise. Support them to lead the technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments, by delivering all work according to MS best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.

- Must possess exceptional cross-team collaboration and communication. Partner with all required Microsoft stakeholders to land and drive role clarity, account coverage, project assignment and effective cross-team collaboration
- Enable your team to establish customer relationships with executives in Infrastructure roles while establishing your own. The goal is to create a comprehensive partnership with the customer throughout their ownership lifecycle that maximizes usage.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
- 2+ years of experience in cloud security and working with AI technologies, particularly in the context of Azure infrastructure and/or similar cloud environments
Security Clearance Requirements: Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Failure to maintain or obtain the appropriate clearance and/or customer screening requirements may result in employment action up to and including termination.
- Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Citizenship & Citizenship Verification:This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customer and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport, or other approved documents, or verified US government Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- 6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
- 5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
- 5+ years experience in technical sales, engineering, or consultative delivery.
- 2+ years experience driving change management or technical adoption.
- Excellent Technical understanding of Microsoft Azure solutions and the ability to articulate the end-to-end security value proposition.
- Experience applying design thinking to build architectures that integrate governance, policies, and customer systems.
- Infrastructure design and deployment experience, including Azure Landing Zones, cloud networking, and data center migrations.
- Ability to understand customer business outcomes and align technical solutions to deliver measurable value.
- Experience with sales processes, pipeline management, and operations for IaaS and PaaS (preferably Azure).
- Familiarity with Cloud security and AI as they relate to Azure infrastructure.
