Job Details
Main Skills - Aurora, DMS, RDS, On Prem to AWS Migration SCT. Schema Conversion, Cross Region Replication. Failover/Switchover. Terraform- Query
- Data Migration: Migrating data from existing databases to AWS and optimizing the migration process.
- Performance Insights: Leveraging Amazon RDS Performance Insights to monitor database performance.
- Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Understanding of AWS services like S3, EC2, and other related tools.
- Required Skills and Experience:
- Database Administration Experience:
- Proven experience managing relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- AWS RDS Expertise:
- Familiarity with AWS RDS, including its features, functionalities, and best practices.
- SQL Proficiency:
- Strong SQL skills for query writing, optimization, and database manipulation.
- Scripting Languages:
- Experience with scripting languages like Terraform, AWS Lambda, Python or Shell for automating tasks.
