About the Role:
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with hands-on experience in AWS/Azure cloud platforms to design, deploy, and manage foundational cloud services in a highly regulated financial services environment. This is a strategic hands-on role, responsible for compute, storage, networking, load balancing, and automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/ARM Templates).

**This role is open to candidates with a valid EAD (Employment Authorization Document) only.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement core AWS/Azure services including VPCs, compute, storage, networking, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.

  • Build and maintain multi-environment Landing Zones for enterprise cloud adoption.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM Templates, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Implement monitoring and observability using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana, ELK, Splunk.

  • Enforce cloud security best practices including IAM, RBAC, network policies, and access controls.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform compliance, scalability, and reliability.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to cloud engineering teams.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering (AWS/Azure).

  • Hands-on with Terraform, ARM Templates, Azure CLI, CloudFormation.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub Actions.

  • Expertise in containerization & orchestration: Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), Docker, Helm.

  • Experience in observability & monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Splunk.

  • Strong scripting/programming skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell.

  • Knowledge of cloud networking and security best practices.

  • EAD (Employment Authorization Document) required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS/Azure professional certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).

  • Experience in regulated financial services or enterprise environments.

  • Familiarity with serverless technologies and advanced DevSecOps practices.
