Aventura, FL | Cloud Engineer | Full-time
We are actively recruiting a Cloud Engineer for our client in Aventura, FL. This is a direct hire opportunity that does require being on-site full time. This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the best organizations in their industry.

Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and manage cloud platforms and services.
- Serve as the go-to cloud expert, advising on architecture, design, and secure deployments in AWS and Azure, leveraging automation tools.
- Oversee system health, uptime, and security posture.
- Streamline operations through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Partner with DevOps, Security, and Development teams to enable smooth application deployment and scalability.
- Design and maintain cloud backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies.
- Support business continuity initiatives, including data backup, restoration, and compliance audits to safeguard cloud environments.
- Enforce adherence to security and governance frameworks.
- Continuously research emerging cloud technologies and propose enhancements.
- Keep system and process documentation current to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Be flexible in supporting various Technology projects as needed; occasional weekend work may be required for event support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing cloud environments, including architecture, deployment, and automation in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and security configurations.
- Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Azure Monitor.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
- Experience implementing enterprise Copilot AI solutions is advantageous.
