Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Cloud Finance Analyst to join our multi-million dollar National Intelligence program supporting the Cloud Investment Multi-Cloud Management (CIMM) program. As a contributor to the Intelligence Community's first multi-cloud initiative, you will be at the epicenter of emergent cloud computing technologies, establishing a foundation that will evolve to include all agencies within the IC . The ideal candidate for the Cloud Finance Analyst role will have a deep understanding of cloud financial management practices and principles, with a proven track record of optimizing cloud costs and investments.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and forecasting for cloud spending across multiple platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)
  • Leverage management tools to identify and act upon optimization opportunities
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to recommend cost-optimization practices
  • Provide insights and recommendations on cloud usage and cost trends to senior management
  • Lead and promote a culture of cost awareness in cloud
  • Work with internal stakeholders, providing visibility into cloud spend and cost avoidance
  • Engage with cloud service providers to ensure cost-efficient optimization
  • Stay abreast of the latest cloud FinOps tools, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications

Required :
  • Active TS/SCI with poly clearance
  • Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cloud financial management or cloud cost optimization role
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and pricing models across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about cloud cost management

Desired :
  • Certification in Cloud FinOps (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner)
