Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure to support enterprise applications and workloads. This role will involve infrastructure-as-code (IaC), CI/CD pipeline development, performance optimization, and strong collaboration with application, security, and DevOps teams to drive cloud adoption and operational excellence across the organization.

Required Skillsets:

  • 7+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure in enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK for infrastructure automation.
  • Proficient in at least one scripting/programming language: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS core services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline development, Git, and DevOps practices.
  • Sound understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and DNS/VPN configurations.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, PCI-DSS, etc.).

Good to Have Skillsets:

  • Experience in multi-cloud environments, especially Azure or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
  • Exposure to regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare) with compliance experience.
  • Experience managing container orchestration platforms such as EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with GitOps tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Flux), Ansible, or Packer.
  • Understanding of AWS Landing Zones, Control Tower, and enterprise security architecture.
  • Strong collaboration and mentoring skills; experience leading infrastructure initiatives.
  • AWS Certifications such as:
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional
    • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
    • AWS Certified Security Specialty
    • HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure, highly available, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS using services like VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EKS, and CloudFront.
  • Automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline for seamless deployments and infrastructure updates.
  • Implement cloud governance, access control (IAM/RBAC), encryption strategies, security baselines, and compliance controls using AWS-native tools (Config, Inspector, GuardDuty).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy cloud-native, containerized, and serverless solutions aligned with best practices and business objectives.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize infrastructure performance, availability, and cost using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Trusted Advisor, and AWS Cost Explorer.
  • Stay current with AWS service updates and propose integration of new technologies and tools to improve infrastructure capabilities and developer productivity.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture, IaC templates, standards, operational procedures, and runbooks.
  • Azure VNet, VM, AKS, Azure Storage, Azure AD, and Azure Functions.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate provisioning and lifecycle management of cloud resources.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools to enable automated deployments and infrastructure updates.
  • Enforce cloud security best practices, compliance controls, and governance frameworks, including RBAC, encryption, and Azure Policy.
  • Collaborate with application development, DevOps, and security teams to design and deploy cloud-native and hybrid solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost using Azure Monitor, Azure Advisor, and Cost Management tools.
  • Evaluate and integrate new Azure services or third-party tools to enhance performance and developer agility.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and reusable templates to support onboarding and platform consistency.
