Cloud Network Engineer / Hybrid / Irving, TX

A home security company is looking to hire a Cloud Network Engineer on a 6 month contract to hire basis. They are looking for a seasoned cloud network engineer proficient in Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure networking, load balancers, and firewalls. They want someone who is able to design, develop, document, and implement enterprise network technologies across their hybrid footprint. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud network engineering, utilizing the following networking technologies Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco routing, and F5 load balancers.

This is a hybrid 6 month contract to hire position located in Irving, TX

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with F5 or similar technologies.
• 8+ years in IT network engineering roles, including LAN, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, and routing protocol design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with deploying and managing enterprise-grade network infrastructure, including wired and wireless networks, dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and VLAN configurations.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing secure and scalable network solutions across multi-vendor platforms, including Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Juniper, and Aruba.

Desired Skills & Experience

• CCNA, CCNP or Cloud certification.
• Palo Alto certification.
