Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect (Cloud Terraform Dev)
Location: Plano, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Enterprise BFSI client
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Standard working hours


About the Role:


We are hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of experience to drive our cloud modernization initiatives across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform. If you have strong Terraform expertise, a deep understanding of distributed systems, and hands-on experience migrating enterprise or financial applications from on-prem to cloud, we want to speak with you.


Top Three skills:





  • Terraform (Infrastructure as Code expert level)




  • Deep experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform cloud services




  • Strong Linux/UNIX administration & distributed systems fundamentals




  • Cloud migration experience (on-prem to cloud) preferably in financial institutions




What We re Looking For:




  • Experience with writing infrastructure as code using Terraform



  • Knowledge of web protocols, operating systems, hypervisors, and distributed systems architecture



  • Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform platforms and services



  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) or similar frameworks



  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins



  • Agile development practices and test-driven development



  • Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, Salt



  • Experience with identity management frameworks and tools



  • Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration



  • Familiarity with Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)



  • Cloud provider certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Architect).



  • Experience with architecting software solutions



Compensation:


Hourly Rate: $70 $71 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
