Job Description:
- We seek a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Account Executive. This role is critical in managing our most valuable customer relationships while driving new business opportunities and growth. The candidate should possess strong sales management skills, excellent leadership, and proven customer relationship management experience.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Identifying and developing leads to generate sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead-generation campaigns, and social selling techniques.
- Achieving sales objectives with new business growth while increasing revenue.
- Expanding the customer base by acquiring and retaining accounts.
- Utilizing solutions-based selling techniques to address and resolve customers' business challenges.
- Providing regular updates and insights to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
- Oversee the management and administration of customer contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contract terms, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with relevant departments to address any contract-related issues or disputes.
Partner and Market Expansion:
- Identifying, evaluating, and securing new partners to expand our market presence.
- Cultivating strong, mutually beneficial relationships with key partners, ensuring long-term success.
- Proactively seeking opportunities in untapped or underserved markets to drive growth.
Financial Management:
- Overseeing the financial performance of accounts and new business initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
Leadership:
- Providing strong leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, IT, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product delivery and implementation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in account management and sales, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
- Thorough understanding of the sales cycle: approach, qualification, need agreement, company presentation, customer needs fulfillment, commitment acquisition, and sale finalization.
- Technology sales and educational experience, i.e., SaaS sales experience, CRM, Salesforce or other client management tools, social media, etc.
- Proven experience in customer relationship management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, strong presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the sales cycle, including approach, qualification, agreement on need, selling our company, filling customer needs, getting commitment, and cementing the sale.
- This position requires approximately 50-75% travel with some overnight stays.
- Must be eligible for work in the USA.
- Valid WA State driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Pre-employment and ongoing drug screens.
- Pass a background check.
