The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Corning IT is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support the continuous improvement of our marketing, e-commerce, sales, service, pricing, and employee engagement initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into meaningful intelligence that drives our commercial strategies. Your primary responsibility will be to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google BigQuery, Databricks, and Looker Studio. You will develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to optimize marketing spend, enhance sales effectiveness, and improve customer & employee engagement. In this role, you will contribute to the development and deployment of data-driven solutions for a comprehensive Customer 360 view by integrating data from various customer touchpoints, enabling personalized customer experiences and fostering stronger customer relationships by leveraging data science and machine learning technologies to address complex business challenges. You will also focus on capturing metrics to improve employee experience on the Intranet. Your technical expertise in data analytics tools, combined with your strong analytical and communication skills, will be essential in presenting data-driven recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Build and maintain ETL/ELT data ingestion pipelines from multiple source systems for Digital Marketing, Sales, Service, eCommerce, and Advanced Pricing capabilities into Enterprise Data Lake.
Implement and maintain data collection and governance processes using Google Tag Manager and web analytics tools - author tagging plans, design data layer schema, configure and validate GA4 & GTM, and ensure consent-mode compliant tracking
Ensure data quality through rigorous cleansing, validation, and standardization procedures
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
Perform complex data analysis using SQL in Data Lake environments such as Google BigQuery and Databricks
Develop analytical data models and schemas to identify customer behavior patterns, trends, and opportunities
Generate actionable insights to support digital marketing campaigns, eCommerce optimization, and pricing strategies
Conduct A/B testing analysis and provide recommendations for optimization
Implement data quality checks, anomaly detection, and reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of business-critical data
Conduct root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement solutions to prevent future issues
Collaborate with product owners and architects to define data integration strategies between marketing, sales, service, eCommerce, advanced pricing platforms and Enterprise Data Lake.

Curate and maintain machine learning-ready datasets and semantic layers for advanced analytics and predictive modeling in pricing and customer behavior.
Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio, Power BI or Tableau
Develop automated reporting solutions to track KPIs across digital channels such as funnel conversion and drop-off, campaign performance, lead-to-revenue flow, customer segmentation and cohorts, service case trends, pricing/discount leakage, and profitability drivers
Present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various organizational levels
Design visualization solutions that effectively communicate complex data stories
Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, definitions, and analytical methodologies
Collaborate with the Data Management Office to align with enterprise data governance standards
Participate in data governance initiatives, including metadata management, data lineage tracking, and compliance with data privacy regulations, etc.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Service, and Pricing to understand business requirements
Contribute to the development of the Customer 360 data strategy and roadmap
Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
Stay current with industry trends and recommend new tools and methodologies

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics) or Marketing with a strong analytical focus.

Required Skills:
2+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and analytics
Proficiency in SQL with experience in complex query writing and optimization
Experience with data visualization tools, preferably Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms
Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT processes
Experience with cloud-based data lake platforms (BigQuery, Databricks, or similar)
Strong understanding of web analytics metrics and digital marketing KPIs
Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches
Experience in statistical analysis and data modeling
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to identify data quality issues and implement corrective measures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences Experience working in cross-functional team environments
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
Customer-focused mindset with understanding of customer journey analytics

Desired Skills:
Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager
Programming experience in Python or R for data analysis
Experience with API integrations and data pipeline development
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and predictive analytics
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Experience with data orchestration tools (Qlik, or similar)
Understanding of digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, email marketing, personalization)
Knowledge of customer segmentation and lifetime value analysis
Familiarity with pricing analytics and revenue optimization
Experience with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on data collection
Self-starter with ability to work independently and take initiative
Agile mindset with adaptability to changing priorities
Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
Strong collaboration skills and ability to build relationships across teams
Creative thinking for innovative solution development
Relevant certifications (Google Analytics, Google Cloud, Databricks, etc.) are a plus

The range for this position is $72,880.00- $118,430.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, pension plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
