Position: Compliance Officer Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes
Location: 1313 North Tampa Street, Tampa, FL 33602
Type: Onsite | Temporary Assignment (~4 months)

About the Role:
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (FL-DBPR) is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the Division of Condominiums, Timeshares, and Mobile Homes. This role involves reviewing and analyzing complaints, interacting with the public, and ensuring compliance with Florida statutes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact constituents and complainants to discuss details of filed complaints.

  • Analyze complaints against Florida statutes to determine validity.

  • Communicate effectively with the public; provide excellent customer service.

  • Advise complainants on Division jurisdiction and case outcomes.

  • Draft and send written correspondence upon supervisor approval.

  • Close cases by entering appropriate codes/activities/statutes in Versa.

  • Document all actions accurately in the OnBase system.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply Florida statutes (1+ year).

  • Experience working with the public in a professional environment (3+ years).

  • Experience analyzing complaints (1+ year).

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to meet project timelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience using Versa case management system.

  • Experience using OnBase document management system.

Work Environment:
Professional office setting, business casual attire, onsite in Tampa, FL.
