Description:
The ChEM-H/Neuro facilities operations team is seeking a solid technical candidate with strong customer service skills for our Computing Support Analyst 1 position. The candidate would be responsible for first response and triage of any support requests that arrive into the team s ticket request queue, walk-ins, and direct messages. These requests will include, but not be limited to audio/video support of events spaces and conference rooms, Windows and Mac computer support, basic networking, and mobile phone (iPhone and Android) support. The candidate will have ownership of the request and do their best to solve the problem or direct the requestor to the correct resources.
- Requirements:
- Two or more years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting audio/video systems of event spaces and conference rooms.
- Experience with supporting various computing and mobile operating systems like Windows, Mac OS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
- Experience with troubleshooting hardware issues on desktops/laptop computing devices and mobile devices like phones and tablets.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting cloud services like Microsoft Office365 and Google Workspaces.
- Experience working in a higher education environment.
- Experience using ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
- Basic understanding of networking technologies.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work professionally with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively with little or no supervision.
- Ability to solve complex problems that require the candidate to be adaptable and think quickly.
- Experience in working in a team environment.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with varying, strict deadlines.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
