Business Solutions Manager

Contract to Hire, partially onsite in either in NYC or White Plains, NY office.

As Business Solutions Manager you will shape projects and ongoing solutions that enable our organization. You have experience delivering simple to complex projects with your business and technical expertise paired with strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Partnership

• Engage important partners and establish reliable business relationships.
• Ensure alignment, visibility, and transparency in all aspects of projects.
• Promote the gathering, definition, and prioritization of requirements with important partners.
• Add value by driving change management efforts in partnership with business colleagues.

Project Leadership

• End-to-end responsibility for delivery of solutions that balance pace, flexibility, growth, and experimentation.
• Deliver value through multiple concurrent technology projects.
• Take true ownership of projects and exceed expectations of scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
• Develop plans and strategies to prepare for the unforeseen.
• Actively manage and control spend, forecasts and budgets with a strong bias to avoid waste.
• Build, lead, and mentor project teams that do not lose sight of the project goals and strategy

Business Analysis

• Translate business needs into IT specifications and use cases
• Provide functional expertise and drive business analysis and process design to help our business define requirements for technology solutions.
• Understand complex business processes and document them into a logical and comprehensible format
• Identify and drive business improvement, renovation, and evolution.
• Translate analysis and conclusions into actionable recommendations

Solution Architecture and UX

• Create and shape processes by designing solutions and creating functional specifications for development.
• Advocate End User Experience to minimize obstacles and improve productivity
• Collaborate with technical team to design and build integrated, scalable, and automated, solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Required

• Proven experience leading IT projects with sustained business results in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Expertise in SAP as a functional specialist or a super user in areas including, supply chain, production, logistics etc.
• Expertise and passion for data, integration, information systems, architecture, and technologies
• Engaging and inspiring project team leadership, creation of high performing teams and mobilizing the organization to achieve

Preferred

1. CPG industry experience
2. Experience with Agile methodologies
