Rate: $30/hr - $35/hr on W2 All Inclusive Danta Technologies payroll $37/hr - $40/hr on Corp to Corp All Inclusive

About the role:

We are seeking a Control Engineer with a passion for advanced control systems and model-based design. In this role, you will work at the intersection of innovation and implementation designing and validating sophisticated control strategies to power next-generation systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including our Advanced R&D, Thermodynamics, and Equipment Application groups.

If you have experience with Modified PI Controllers, Feedforward Control, Model Predictive Control (MPC), and System Identification, this opportunity is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Algorithm & Feature Development:

  • Design and develop functional control algorithms using both classical and advanced techniques (e.g., Modified PI, Feedforward, MPC).

  • Apply System Identification methods to support dynamic modeling and control refinement.

• Implementation & Testing:

  • Use MATLAB / Simulink / Stateflow for model-based design and logic implementation.

  • Run simulations and validation tests to ensure performance and robustness.

• Integration & Prototyping:

  • Support integration of algorithms into product platforms and prototyping systems.

• Data Analysis & Optimization:

  • Analyze field and test data to fine-tune controls for optimal system performance.

• Strategic Alignment:

  • Help align control system development with broader product and innovation roadmaps.

What the Client is Exactly Looking For:

• Hands-on experience designing or modifying:

  • PI/Modified PI controllers

  • Feedforward controllers

  • MPC

  • System Identification Methods

• Strong MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow skills for model-based design and control logic implementation.

• Background in control engineering or related field (Automation, Mechatronics, Electronics).

• Comfort with simulations, testing, and field data analysis for control optimization.

• Knowledge of C or scripting languages (Python, MATLAB scripts, etc.)

• Understanding of embedded systems or real-time control

• Experience in algorithm development pipelines

• PLC/SCADA backgrounds
• IoT, HMI, infotainment, or UX/UI-centric experience
