We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Controls Application Engineering Intern to join our dynamic Controls team. Timeline: This Internship opportunity is for May - August 2026

Location: Remote, with regular travel to our Plymouth, MN office.

What you will do:
  • You will have the opportunity to own a meaningful, real-life project within the Controls Department that can directly create a positive impact on Daikin Applied's HVAC Development
  • Learn how to develop and improve control sequences for HVAC systems to outline how they run
  • Collaborate with engineers to solve problems and support the creation of standard operating procedures

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Sophomore or Junior pursuing Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $23/hr - $28/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
