Cybersecurity Data Analyst

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Data Analyst with our client in the financial Industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Data Management
• Review and analyze multi-faceted and long-term challenges in Data Management, especially those involving cybersecurity contexts
• Contribute to the resolution of complex issues requiring a strong understanding of data analytics, security policies, compliance procedures, and technical controls
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to identify, retrieve, and onboard key datasets into cybersecurity-focused platforms
• Support the business in identifying data that addresses specific cybersecurity needs and facilitate its integration into big data systems

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management, or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education
• Experienced in vulnerability management, threat detection, incident response, and secure SDLC practices
• Proficient with SIEM tools like Splunk, along with GRC, EDR, and cloud security technologies
• Skilled in configuring and managing security controls such as firewalls, proxies, and IDS/IPS
• Expertise in libraries, machine learning, and Jupyter Notebook.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and understanding of cloud security and compliance
• Proficient in front-end development using JavaScript, React, Angular, Bootstrap, CSS, and HTML
• Knowledgeable in working with MongoDB for scalable data storage and analysis

Pay Range: $ 52 - 62
