Cybersecurity Engineer
Key Role:

Develop and implement security solutions in alignment with a security strategy. Maintain an awareness of market and technology trends to bring best-of-breed solutions to the client. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide activities of more junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience assessing, auditing, configuring, and authorizing information systems
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, system administration, compliance and vulnerability assessments, Navy and Marine Corp Risk Management Framework, eMASS, and MCCAST
  • Ability to determine solutions to challenging and evolving cybersecurity requirements
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate's degree in Cybersecurity or CS
  • Security+ Certification


Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience with Navy and Marine Corps cybersecurity projects and programs, eMASS, MCCAST, VRAM, DITPR-DON, or DADMS
  • Ability to work independently and on a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or CS
  • CISSP or CASP Certification


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
