Expected salary range of $143,100 to $159,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

This Cycle Manager Online is for Crane Clean Energy Center in Middletown, PA (near Harrisburg).

Primary Purpose of Position

The Cycle Manager manages the Cycle Plan for the Nuclear Clean Energy Centers (CECs) and is responsible for sequencing of work within the plan, taking into consideration the CEC design configuration Technical Specifications, Maintenance Rule, Probabilistic Safety Analysis, personnel and CEC safety, material condition, resource management, regulatory compliance, to safely optimize electrical production and minimize maintenance costs. The Cycle Manager manages the screening of Action Requests (AR's) and Work Requests (WR's), and the classification of work order priorities. Responsible for maintaining performance towards the various CEC backlog and Material Condition Improvement Plan (MCIP) related goals.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Manages work sequencing, work scope, risk level Technical Specifications, and maintenance rule compliance for equipment and system work windows leading into the work control process. Coordinates and controls the work schedule from E-28 through turnover to Work Week Manager (WWM).
  • Bundles work within work windows to minimize plant risk and System, Structure, or Component (SSC) unavailability. Acts as the switchyard maintenance (i.e. Energy Delivery, etc.) interface for the CEC.
  • Directs the actions of CEC organizations to ensure that the materiel condition plan is represented within the cycle plan. Ensures that CEC business goals are met through the execution of the plan.
  • Establishes the scope and boundaries of the cycle plan and monitors the performance of the Cycle Schedulers.
  • Chairs or participates in the Station Oversight Committee (SOC). Performs screening of new issue reports.
  • Drives the management of CEC backlogs, maintaining a balance between preventative, corrective, and elective maintenance work completion for effective continuous material condition improvement.
  • Mentors and develops other Work Management employees.
  • Determines the on-line risk level for the CEC work schedule and emergent work.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience OR
  • Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license with 8 years of related experience OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in work management and scheduling
  • Working Knowledge of Primavera P6 software
  • Working knowledge of personal computer (PC) applications, including MS Suite and Microsoft Access
  • Leadership Skills - Previous supervisory or managerial experience and/or PMP Certification
