Job Details

Be Part of a High-Performing Team

This role is part of a growing internal ERP product team supporting a major, multi-year transformation centered around a new Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain platform. The company operates within a highly dynamic, distribution-focused environment with complex warehouses, high-volume order flows, and ongoing expansion. An external systems integrator is currently leading the implementation, but this internal team is being built to own the platform long-term - driving the roadmap, optimizing warehouse execution, and ensuring the ERP truly reflects real operational needs.

This team values collaboration, operational understanding, and forward-thinking problem-solving. Team members challenge assumptions, work directly with business stakeholders, and play a critical role in stabilizing, enhancing, and maturing the enterprise platform through continuous rollout cycles occurring approximately every three months. It is a highly engaged, hands-on, product-minded environment where ownership and influence are expected.

What's In Store for You
  • A long-term role within a major ERP transformation - not a short-term project assignment.
  • Opportunities to shape the future of warehouse execution across a large-scale, multi-site distribution network.
  • Work with modern Dynamics 365 Supply Chain, Azure, and integrated warehouse technologies.
  • A remote-first environment with monthly onsite collaboration in Dallas, New Jersey, or Charlotte.
  • Exposure to complex supply chain workflows, continuous improvements, and iterative releases.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Own the Warehouse Management (WMS) workstream within the D365 platform.
  • Partner closely with warehouse operations to align system design with real-world processes such as receiving, putaway, picking, packing, replenishment, and shipping.
  • Review and challenge SI designs to ensure best practices and operational fit.
  • Configure D365 WMS elements, including location directives, work templates, wave setups, mobile device menus, and RF scanning workflows.
  • Support go-live readiness, stabilization, and recurring rollout cycles every ~3 months.
  • Drive continuous improvement across multi-site distribution centers by identifying process gaps and system optimization opportunities.
  • Lead UAT planning, defect resolution, system validation, and post-implementation enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse execution, inventory accuracy, and operational workflow issues within D365.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, logistics, IT, OTC, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.

Are You an Experienced WMS Specialist Ready to Make an Impact?

Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-10+ years of experience in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within distribution-heavy environments.
  • Hands-on configuration and implementation experience with D365 WMS or a comparable enterprise WMS solution.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse execution processes: receiving, putaway, picking, packing, inventory, replenishment, shipping.
  • Prior experience participating in ERP implementations, including design, testing, and post-go-live support.
  • Ability to clearly articulate contributions to past implementations (a critical requirement).
  • Ability to challenge SI recommendations and influence solution direction.
  • Strong functional + technical skill set, including hands-on configuration of key WMS elements.
  • Experience working closely with business teams, especially warehouse supervisors and operations leadership.
  • Ability to travel monthly to major hubs: Dallas (preferred), New Jersey, or Charlotte.

Preferred / Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with Infor WMS, Infor FCE, Epicor, PDI, or other modern WMS tools.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience with legacy-to-D365 migration efforts.
  • Background supporting multi-site distribution centers.
  • Exposure to high-volume, fast-moving warehouse environments.
  • Relevant certifications (MB-330 or D365 WMS certifications).
  • Experience supporting continuous rollout environments.

Strict Must-Haves
  • Hands-on D365 WMS (or equivalent enterprise WMS) configuration experience.
  • Strong warehouse process understanding and real operational exposure.
  • Proven ERP implementation experience with clear ownership.
  • Strong ability to challenge an SI and guide solution design.
  • Business-facing communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with warehouse operations.
  • Stable work history with clear, logical career progression.
  • Must be based in Dallas, NJ, Charlotte, or Portland (or willing to travel monthly to these hubs).

Nice-to-Haves
  • Infor WMS / Infor FCE experience.
  • Power BI or Power Automate experience.
  • Experience in multi-warehouse, distribution-heavy companies.
  • Prior exposure to 3PL, logistics, or transportation workflows.
  • Experience with ongoing ERP enhancement cycles.
  • WMS-related certifications.
