Overview:

A global leader in branded lifestyle apparel, footwear, and accessories, is seeking highly skilled DAM Developer/Configuration Specialist to join our innovative digital technology team. This role will play a pivotal part in streamlining design workflows by integrating Digital Product Creation, DAM ecosystem into end-to-end workflow. The DAM Developer/ Configuration Specialistwill play a crucial role in supporting digital asset management strategy, focusing on the seamless integration and automation of key systems that drive creative, supply chain, and operational efficiency. This position requires a strong technical background, especially in developing scalable solutions for asset and data management and workflow automation. Candidates should be proactive, collaborative, and able to adapt to evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation scripts and APIs to integrate Orange DAM with other enterprise systems.
  • Facilitate data and asset migrations including mapping and transforming data structures
  • Conduct quality assurance and validation for data, and system functionality.
  • Develop and support integrations between DPC workflows, FlexPLM, and other platforms.
  • Write clean, scalable code to support asset management, metadata handling, and delivery pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the DAM platform and related integrations.
  • Interface with internal DT team, stakeholders, and software vendor to trouble shoot, escalate issues as needed as well as create current documentation.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure compatibility across tools and environments.
  • Execute monthly maintenance activities (patches, updates, health checks) and contribute to system reliability initiatives.
  • Work closely with design, IT, and product teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews) and contribute to technical documentation for scalability and future enhancements.

Key Technical Skills

o Large-scale data and asset migration experience

o Proficient in Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, SQL scripting

o Strong RESTful API development and integration with JSON

o Skilled in Postman for testing and validation

o Hands-on with Orange Logic DAM or similar platforms

o Knowledge of metadata management, asset workflows, and DAM automation

o Cloud platform experience: AWS and Azure

o Understanding of networking: HTTP and DNS

o Data skills with taxonomy, controlled vocabulary, data mapping, and structures

o Bonus: Experience with SKOS, OWL, and RDF

Education

o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
