A global technology organization is expanding its data capabilities and looking for a Data Engineer to join its engineering team in Guadalajara. You will help design and scale the data infrastructure that powers analytics, product innovation, and intelligent user experiences across multiple platforms.
As a Data Engineer, you will build and maintain robust data pipelines, optimize data workflows, and ensure high-quality, reliable data availability for engineering, analytics, and machine learning teams.
Key responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics, machine learning, and event processing.
Develop both batch and streaming data workflows using orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster.
Implement data validation, quality checks, and monitoring systems to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data.
Key skills:
5+ years building production-grade data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Hands-on experience with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) and distributed computing frameworks (Spark).
Strong understanding of cloud data architectures, data modeling, and data quality best practices.
