Location : Pleasant Prairie, WI (F2F interview)
Job Responsibilities:
- Design complex databases, tables, stored procedures, views, triggers, and other database objects.
- Optimize database performance through several techniques, including indexing, query optimization, and database design.
- Participate in periodic High Availability/Disaster Recovery tests of critical systems.
- Proactively monitor database performance and capacity of available resources.
- Provide day-to-day support for databases and database applications.
- Upgrade and patch database management systems.
- Technical Environment: Database design, build, configuration, implementation, and maintenance; installation, fix pack and version upgrades; develop data archiving, data purging, data partitioning, data masking and automated data refresh solutions; Database performance and SQL tuning; SQL replication; Develop and maintain High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies; Support data center switch activities; DB2 LUW; Oracle; RHEL; Shell Scripting; Service Now; IBM data studio; BMC ctrl-M; Nagios.
