Job Details

DB2 Database Administrator:

Engagement Type: Open to C2C

Required Skills (3 to 5 years):

  • DB2 database design, implementation, and support
  • Performance tuning and monitoring
  • SQL optimization
  • Experience with utilities: Load, Reorg, Imagecopy, Runstats, Recovery
  • Tools: Microsoft Office, Teams, JIRA, ServiceNow, Clarity, GitLab/GitHub

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with z/OS Mainframe, CICS, MQ
  • Familiarity with EMC/Dell & IBM storage
  • Understanding of interface with COBOL and Java
  • Knowledge of application delivery pipelines (CI/CD)

 

Top Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement efficient DB2 database schemas
  • Monitor and optimize database performance
  • Manage database utilities (Load, Reorg, Runstats, etc.)
  • Support SQL query optimization and troubleshooting
