Job Description:
Role Overview

The Senior Division Order Analyst ensures accurate revenue and expense distribution across Louisiana and Texas assets. This role sets up ownership decks, builds joint venture equity groups, maintains mineral ownership, and resolves title issues. It requires strong title analysis skills, SAP expertise, and clear communication with internal and external partners. Success depends on prioritizing high-value work, accuracy, thriving in complexity, and embracing emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ownership Deck Management: Create and maintain division order decks and joint venture equity groups for company operated and non-operated wells by (1) analyzing title opinions and broker reports, (2) interpreting deeds, assignments, probate and other title documentation, and (3) calculating ownership interests.
  • Title Analysis & Resolution: Research and resolve complex title issues in coordination with Legal, Land, and Accounting teams.
  • Data Implementation: Interpret and integrate land data into SAP PRA, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and data privacy standards.
  • Process Innovation: Design and implement process improvements, including automation and AI-driven solutions, to streamline workflows and increase accuracy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate cross-functionally with Land, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Control, Midstream, and Operations teams to uphold ownership integrity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Partner Relations: Communicate professionally with royalty owners and working interest partners via phone, email, and formal correspondence.
  • Business Support: Support audits, litigation, and business development initiatives with thorough research and documentation.
  • Training & Mentorship: Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (JD preferred).
  • Minimum 7+ years of Division Order experience, with demonstrated expertise in Louisiana and Texas title practices.
  • Proficiency in SAP PRA and Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel).
  • Experience with scripting, automation, or emergent technologies is highly desirable.

How much do we pay (Base)? $110,000 - $150,000. Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
