Job Title: Data, AI & Cloud Governance Junior Consultant
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension)

Function Overview
Group Data Office is the Group Central Data and Analytics arm that works closely with the Group Businesses and Group Corporate functions to enable the execution of Client`s Group Strategy through Robust Data Standards & Governance, Actionable Performance Metrics & MIS, and High Impact Information and Analytics Products and Solutions.
Job Purpose:
Drive development and implementation of Data Management Framework, monitor and enforce compliance of Data Management Policies & Standards and improve quality and manage protection of sensitive data and information assets across Client`s Group. Perform project management for governance and platform migration activities for applications to be managed by CDO
Job Responsibilities:
Drive development and implementation of comprehensive Data, Cloud, and AI Management Frameworks, monitor and enforce compliance of related policies & standards, and improve quality and protection of sensitive data and information assets across Nomura Group, including newly integrated entities from acquisitions.

Drive development and implementation of comprehensive Data, Cloud, and AI Management Frameworks, monitor and enforce compliance of related policies & standards, and improve quality and protection of sensitive data and information assets across Nomura Group, including newly integrated entities from acquisitions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive implementation of Nomura's integrated Data, Cloud, and AI Governance frameworks, with proven experience in successfully implementing enterprise-wide governance structures focusing on:
o Interoperability across legacy and acquired systems o Data quality improvement and sensitive data protection o Cloud data security and compliance o Responsible AI development and deployment o Cross-border data transfer compliance o Integration of governance frameworks during M&A activities - Deliver post-acquisition integration of data governance frameworks, ensuring seamless alignment of policies, standards, and practices across merged entities
- Demonstrate exceptional technical expertise in:
o Modern data management and governance tools o Cloud governance and security frameworks o AI/ML model governance and risk management o Data privacy and protection regulations o Automation of governance activities o Integration of disparate governance systems - Contribute to multiple concurrent strategic initiatives while maintaining operational excellence in existing governance frameworks
- Develop and implement comprehensive governance metrics and monitoring systems across data, cloud, and AI domains
- Create and execute strategic roadmaps for governance tool development and implementation
- Partner with business units to ensure governance frameworks enable rather than impede innovation
- Data Platform Migration Project Management:
- Drive end-to-end project management of complex data platform migrations, including:
o Legacy system assessment and documentation o Migration strategy development and execution o Risk assessment and mitigation planning o Budget management and resource allocation o Timeline development and milestone tracking o Stakeholder communication and alignment - Oversee technical aspects of platform migrations:
o Data mapping and transformation requirements o Data quality validation and reconciliation o Performance testing and optimization o Security and access control implementation o Integration testing and validation o Cutover planning and execution - Manage migration-specific activities:
o Coordinate cross-functional teams (IT, Business, Security, Compliance) o Develop detailed project plans and track progress o Establish migration success criteria and KPIs o Create and maintain migration documentation o Design and implement training programs o Manage vendor relationships and deliverables
Qualification & Core Skills requirement: - MBA or master s in quantitative fields with minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in:
o Post-merger integration of data governance frameworks (Must Have) o Cloud governance implementation and monitoring (Must Have) o AI/ML governance framework development (Good to Have) o Data privacy and protection program management (Must Have) o Leading multiple complex projects simultaneously (Good to Have at 3 yrs experience ppl generally don t handle Multiple Projects) o Managing diverse stakeholder groups effectively (Good to Have) o Large-scale data platform migration projects (Must Have) o Migration tool selection and implementation (Good to Have) o Business continuity planning (Must Have)
- Technical expertise in:
o Data governance tools and platforms (Must Have any one DG Tool) o Cloud security and compliance frameworks (Good to Have) o AI/ML model risk management (Good to Have) o Modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) (Must Have) o Legacy system modernization (Good to Have) o Database migration tools and methodologies (Must Have) o Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ( Can Live without) o Automated testing frameworks(Good to Have) o DevOps practices and tools (Must Have Knowledge how to use CI\CD Pipeline) o Modern data architectures and platforms ( Good to Have) o Programming languages (Python, Java) and SQL (Must Have SQL + 1 Language) o Major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) (Must Have any 1 Cloud Platform Exposure) - Strong understanding of:
