Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing large data sets to provide actionable insights that support business decisions. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in data visualization and statistical analysis, and the ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Perform statistical analysis and interpret results to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver insights for strategic decisions.

Document data processes, methodologies, and findings for transparency and knowledge sharing.

Support data governance and data quality initiatives.

Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or related role.

Strong proficiency with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.

Solid understanding of statistical analysis techniques and tools (e.g., Python, R, Excel).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Experience with predictive modeling and machine learning concepts.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data analytics.
