We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support a critical program focused on managing GIS and database data for internal teams. This role involves analyzing, validating, and reporting data to ensure accuracy and completeness for both new installations and maintenance of field devices. The ideal candidate has a strong GIS and database background, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

responsibilities:

Responsibilities:


  • Collect, analyze, validate, and report on data from multiple sources, including databases, manual files, and external systems.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document ETL processes, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
  • Maintain and validate GIS and Access database data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process data requests and respond to inquiries from project managers and internal teams.
  • Create and publish regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports.
  • Maintain templates, workflows, and documentation related to data management processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering, GIS, data, and project management teams to resolve data discrepancies.




qualifications:

2-4 years of relevant experience in GIS, mapping, or utility/communications data analysis (0-20 years may be considered).


Strong GIS background and experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, ESRI SDE preferred).


Experience with Microsoft Access and SharePoint.


Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, SharePoint).


Familiarity with distribution management systems (DMS) preferred.


Effective communicator and collaborative team player.


Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills.
