Job Summary:

At CitiusTech, we are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with expertise within the healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical technology industries. In this role, you will be responsible for designing advanced data architectures, ensuring solutions meet regulatory requirements and drive strategic business outcomes. You will work closely with internal and client teams, guiding them through complex data transformation projects, from initial proposal development to final implementation.

As a key player in the team, you will drive technical leadership for data projects, lead the creation of high-level designs, and ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery. You will also play an active role in sales support, proposal development, and strategic sales planning, working with both internal stakeholders and clients to craft compelling data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive pre-sales and consulting for key opportunities. Lead client conversations and support sales teams and client partners in solutioning for large deals and in key accounts
• Provide strategic consulting for clients in making architectural decisions as well as a solutioning approach to their problems
• Collaborate with product and platform partners to build integrated solutions. Enable growth and impact across solution areas
• Formulate and lead the development of new data-and-analytics offerings (solutions + services) for Healthcare HMT– including revenue responsibility for these offerings
• Build offerings for key areas of opportunity in HMT organizations like cost management, member experience, provider management and value-based care. As well as various technical capabilities including cloud adoption, analytics enablement and inter-operability
• Collaborate closely with AI, Analytics and Inter-operability practice experts – to give our HMT clients and integrated Data and Analytics experience
• Creation of High-Level Designs & Architectures:
  Lead the development of high-level designs and data architectures that address client-specific business problems, focusing on scalability, security, and regulatory compliance. Ensure the proposed architecture is aligned with best practices and fits seamlessly into the client s broader IT ecosystem.
• Proposal Development & Client Engagement:
  Collaborate with the sales and account management teams to create detailed proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), business cases, and RFP responses tailored to each client s unique needs in the healthcare and life sciences sectors. Ensure all technical aspects are clearly outlined, addressing both the business value and the technical feasibility of the proposed solution.
• Client-Facing Sales Support:
  Serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective clients and current customers. Actively support sales teams by interfacing directly with clients, offering technical expertise during sales cycles, answering technical queries, and presenting solution architectures that meet business objectives.
• Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  Work closely with internal technical teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and data scientists, to ensure the proposed solution aligns with the overall technical strategy and can be effectively implemented in a timely manner.
• Proposal Review & Feedback Loop:
  Review and provide feedback on client proposals and RFP responses, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with client needs. Work with sales teams to refine responses, ensuring the client s business goals are addressed effectively.

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

• Industry Experience:
  At least fifteen (15+) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT systems.
• At least 5-7 years of experience as a Data Architect within the healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical technology sectors, with a focus on building scalable data architectures that meet regulatory and business needs.
• Extensive experience in architecture, strategy, and development, with a proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects leveraging AWS, Azure, Snowflake, data engineering, and Agile methodologies to address and resolve complex business challenges.
• Proposal & SOW Development:
  Experience in developing proposals, SOWs, business cases, and RFP responses, especially within complex, regulated industries. Ability to work with sales teams to tailor solutions to specific client requirements.
• Strong Communication & Presentation Skills:
  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, compelling manner to non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
• High-Level Design & Solution Documentation:
  Expertise in designing and documenting high-level data architectures, focusing on data integration, business intelligence, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaboration & Team Leadership:
  Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to lead and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless transition of solutions from presales to delivery.
• Hands-on engineering lead: designing, developing, and optimizing pipelines, and EDW solutions.
