Role: Data Architect (Azure ETL)
Location: Onsite Tallahassee, FL

Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Data Architect / ETL Engineer to design and optimize data pipelines on Microsoft Azure. You'll work with tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Power BI, and Purview to move, transform, and secure data within a large-scale environment.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build ETL pipelines to integrate and transform data from multiple sources.

  • Work with Azure Data Factory (ADF) to automate and manage workflows.

  • Use Databricks (Spark, Python, or Scala) for heavy data transformations.

  • Integrate large datasets into Azure Synapse Analytics for analytics and reporting.

  • Maintain data governance and lineage using Azure Purview.

  • Optimize performance, ensure data security, and document best practices.

  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in ETL/data engineering.

  • 3+ years of hands-on Azure experience (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Purview).

  • Strong skills in SQL and Spark / Python / Scala.

  • Experience with data governance and security (RBAC, Purview).

  • Proven success in building scalable, high-performance pipelines.

Nice to Have

  • Microsoft Azure certifications (Data Engineer, Solutions Architect).

  • Databricks Certification (Data Engineer Associate).
