Role Overview:
We are seeking a senior Data Architect with deep expertise in Databricks to design, build, and govern scalable enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience defining lakehouse architectures, data models, and best practices using Databricks and cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Define and design enterprise-scale data architecture using Databricks Lakehouse
Architect batch and streaming data pipelines using Databricks and Apache Spark
Design and implement Delta Lake data models for analytics and reporting
Establish data standards, governance, security, and best practices
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of Databricks workloads
Collaborate with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders
Guide migration of legacy data platforms to Databricks
Provide technical leadership and architectural direction

Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark
Expertise in Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, and Lakehouse architecture
Strong SQL and data modeling skills
Experience with performance tuning and optimization
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
Experience designing large-scale, enterprise data platforms

Preferred Skills:
Experience with streaming technologies (Kafka, Structured Streaming)
Knowledge of data governance, security, and access controls
Databricks certification is a plus
