Job Description Group Summary:
The team is responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-level mastered data products by financial statement caption that serve as trusted sources of truth for the enterprise. By centralizing, validating, and ensuring complete datasets, the group ensures the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of critical data. Through rigorous quality assessments, proactive issue resolution, and collaboration with upstream data owners, the team addresses root causes of data errors and advises on the design and implementation of effective data controls. In partnership with business, finance, and data engineering teams, the group modernizes data processes and promotes transparency, shared understanding, and appropriate data usage. By developing robust data quality metrics and operating within regulatory and risk frameworks, the team drives continuous improvement, accountability, and confident decision-making.

Job Summary:

  • Contributes to the integrity and accessibility of mastered data by performing routine data quality assessments, identifying anomalies, and supporting issue resolution efforts.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance data completeness and ensure alignment with business and reporting needs.
  • (Data Strategy & Governance) Define and implement data logic and decision rules for assigned domains.
  • (Data Strategy & Governance) Maintain and enhance business glossaries and metadata repositories.
  • (Data Quality & Reconciliation) Lead reconciliation efforts for specific financial domains.
  • (Data Quality & Reconciliation) Design and implement control points and quality checks.
  • (Business Partnership & Collaboration) Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.
  • (Business Partnership & Collaboration) Support regulatory and audit responses with accurate data documentation.
  • (Process Modernization & Enablement) Develop dashboards to track KPIs and issue resolution.
