Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting, repair, parts ordering, preventative maintenance, and installation of Dell hardware at customer sites.
• Triage technical issues under the direction of Dell Support.
• Execute Plans of Action (POA) from Dell Domain Engineers/L3 Support.
• Document POA results, logs, and service reports (including part numbers/PPIDs of old/new parts) via case emails.
• Reseat, swap, or replace hardware components as required.
• Perform server testing and validation through diagnostics, log capture, and firmware upgrades.
• Manage parts inventory, including inbound/outbound shipments, parts lockers, and spare components for server deployments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree or technical certification preferred.
• 4 6 years of hands-on experience in a related technical or field service role.

Preferred skills

• Strong understanding of Dell enterprise servers and components.
