Data Engineer - Machine Learning/AI

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Data Engineer - Machine Learning/AI.

Responsibilities:
* Designing and implementing scalable ETL/ELT processes for AI/ML workflows, ensuring high-quality data pipelines
* Setting up Inbound files from the clients and vendors on the H&W platform
* Building and optimizing data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data, maintaining data quality and availability for AI models
* Developing and managing cloud-based data architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
* Collaborating with key stakeholders to prepare datasets for training and inference, successfully implementing models into production environments

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or a related field
* 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, preferably with AI/ML exposure
* Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data pipeline frameworks like Airflow and dbt
* Experience with big data tools such as Spark, Kafka, and Hadoop
* Familiarity with ML tools and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
* Knowledge of vector databases and LLM pipelines is a plus
* Proficient grasp of data modeling, statistics, and machine learning principles
* Outstanding problem-solving and analytical thinking
* Strong communication and collaboration abilities
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
