Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in risk management processing while working with modern data engineering technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL development skills, hands-on ETL experience, and the ability to design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks.
Write and optimize complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Perform root cause analysis and implement timely resolutions for production and ETL issues.
Collaborate with senior integration and data teams to define data models, design frameworks, and set development priorities.
Support and enhance existing SSIS SQL projects and migrate them to modern data platforms where needed.
Develop and execute SQL queries against Snowflake for analysis, transformation, and validation.
Apply data modeling techniques to design scalable and optimized database schemas.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance across systems.
Create staging frameworks and transformation logic to enable consistent data flow across environments.
Work independently and manage assigned tasks through completion while providing clear communication to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong SQL development expertise (T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views, functions).
Proficiency in MS SQL Server and ETL processes.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Databricks for pipeline orchestration.
Working knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, PySpark) for data processing and automation.
Familiarity with SSIS for ETL and migration support.
Experience writing SQL queries in Snowflake.
Strong data modeling and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Education
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Finance (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
Exposure to risk management or financial services data processes.
Experience in data pipeline optimization and performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.
