About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions to support critical business operations, supply chain, and analytics initiatives. You will work with modern platforms like Snowflake and Databricks, building efficient data pipelines, conducting advanced analytics, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize complex batch and near real-time SQL queries to meet product and business requirements.
  • Design and implement scalable, reusable foundational datasets.
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain data-driven solutions in Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Build and manage end-to-end data pipelines to support reports, tools, and applications.
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify correlations, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Visualize and communicate findings from large, complex datasets to cross-functional teams.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, operations, supply chain, or database administration.
  • Strong expertise in Snowflake or other relational SQL databases (design, implementation, optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes using SQL.
  • Strong skills in data cleansing, curation, transformation, and analysis from multiple systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD, GitHub (preferred), Jenkins, or similar Data DevOps pipelines.
  • Knowledge of database structures and modeling (3rd Normal Form).


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Manufacturing, Operations, or Supply Chain systems.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, etc.) for advanced analytics.
  • Experience with schema deployment tools (SchemaChange, Liquibase).
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Hands-on with Snowflake Tasks, Streams, Stages, and Snowpipes for data ingestion.
  • Experience with data deployment tools (Matillion, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Alteryx).
  • Strong knowledge of APIs and web application database models.
  • Exposure to statistical modeling and machine learning methods.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
