About The Role
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in growing the future of data governance at Adobe? As a Governance Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our Data Governance team, driving the development of our rapidly growing governance platform. This is an outstanding opportunity to work with world-class professionals and make a significant impact on our business. You'll work closely with team members across the organization, turning ambitious goals into reality and ensuring the flawless delivery of our governance strategy!
Key Responsibilities
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $93,200 -- $179,200 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.

- Product Ownership: Serve as the product owner for our governance platform, leading its growth and development.
- Collaborator Partnership: Partner with various business units to understand their needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
- Capability Building: Develop and implement additional capabilities to improve the governance platform.
- Strategy Implementation: Successfully implement governance strategies that ensure data quality, compliance, and security.
- Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities for process improvements and apply standard methodologies in data governance.
- Documentation and Training: Build and maintain comprehensive documentation and provide training to users on governance policies and procedures.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated background in data governance, data management, or a similar area.
- Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of data governance tools and platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Outstanding problem-solving abilities demonstrated through thorough attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate with multi-functional teams.
