RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Layer Developer in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities:
* Google Analytics 4 implementation, configuration, and debugging
* Custom event tracking and enhanced eCommerce measurement
* Cross-domain tracking setup and maintenance
* Advanced data collection strategies using custom dimensions and metrics
* Development and maintenance of website data layer architecture
* Implementation of standardized data schemas (e.g., W3C)
* Integration with third-party marketing and analytics platforms
* Tag management system configuration and governance
* Custom variable and trigger creation in GTM
* Implementation of retargeting solutions
* Integration with CRM and marketing automation platforms
REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 3-5 years of data layer development
* History of successful e-commerce projects
* Proven experience with GA4 implementations
* Experience with high-traffic retail websites
* Experience with A/B testing platforms and conversion tracking
* Experience with consent management platforms (OneTrust, TrustArc)
* Experience with marketing pixels (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.)
* Extensive experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) configuration and deployment
* Familiarity with affiliate tracking platforms
* Advanced JavaScript/TypeScript development with focus on data layer architecture and implementation
* Expert knowledge of data layer event schemas and customer journey tracking
* Strong understanding of eCommerce tracking requirements and implementation standards
Additional Beneficial Skills:
* Creation of technical documentation for data layer implementations
* Development of tracking specifications and requirements
* Cross-functional collaboration with marketing and development teams
* Tag governance and implementation standards maintenance
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
