The Multi-Domain Solutions division at Leidos is seeking a Data Scientist to be based on site with our Intel Community customer. This position will be responsible the design and development of methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse and/or large data sets from disparate sources. Develops and uses advanced statistical concepts, algorithms, querying and automated processes to clean, model, integrate and evaluate complex datasets and business problems for practical application. Is familiar with the principals of related disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, Predictive modeling, Statistical Analysis and Hypothesis testing. Identifies meaningful insights and interprets and communicates findings and recommendations. May develop information tools, algorithms, dashboards, and queries to monitor and improve business performance. Maintains awareness of emerging analytics and big-data technologies. Primary Responsibilities: What you'll be doing!
  • Collect data from government-specific systems such as SAP, security, energy meters, HVAC, and building sensors.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with government data regulations.
  • Analyze facility operations to identify inefficiencies, security vulnerabilities, and areas for cost savings.
  • Monitor asset performance and maintenance activities.
  • Generate reports to demonstrate compliance with contract agreements
  • Maintain audit trails and documentation for government audits.
  • Create dashboards for real-time monitoring of facility metrics.
  • Present findings to government stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for facility upgrades, renovations, or security enhancements.
  • Analyze the impact of policy changes on facility operations.

Basic Qualifications
  • TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience
  • Proficiency in programming languages
  • Experience with data analysis, visualization tools
  • Knowledge of data management, cleaning, and preprocessing techniques.
  • Prior experience with data analysis in facilities, energy, security, or related government projects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with sensor data, IoT systems, or building management systems.
  • Strong ability to analyze large and complex datasets.
  • Ability to develop predictive models and algorithms.
  • Understanding of government data security and privacy standards.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements related to environmental, security, or safety regulations.
  • Ability to communicate complex insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, or advanced analytics.
  • Proven track record working on facility management, energy efficiency, security systems in government or military
  • Experience leading or coordinating multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Experience in SAP, Tableau, SharePoint and ARCHIBUS
  • Certified Data Scientist or PMP a plus.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $104,650.00 - $189,175.00
