About the Role

We are seeking a Database Administrator Lead to support a series of migration and integration projects. This is a senior, hands-on role where you will take ownership of database operations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure database performance, security, and reliability in a clustered SQL Server environment.

What You ll Do

  • Administer and maintain SQL Server databases (2016 2022) in clustered environments.
  • Perform backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning to protect data integrity.
  • Manage user permissions and security controls for database access.
  • Write and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions.
  • Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes and SSRS reports.
  • Collaborate on discovery and migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Participate in project meetings with technical teams, providing database expertise.
  • Oversee CRM database control and ensure accurate data integrations.
  • Act as a senior technical resource and provide guidance on database best practices.

What We re Looking For

  • 6 10 years of experience in database administration, preferably in lead or senior roles.
  • Proven expertise with SQL Server 2016 2022 in high-availability clustered environments.
  • Strong T-SQL skills (complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS development.
  • Knowledge of backup/restore processes, permissions management, and security best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with different teams, and provide clear communication.
  • Experience in CRM data management and supporting enterprise-scale applications.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Previous experience leading or mentoring other DBAs.
  • Exposure to data migration projects in large enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
