job summary:


  • This role involves design, Developer and review all the Database changes in the bank. As a Database Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted design and development practices for perform all the database related changes like DB design, normalization, SQL/ PL-SQL using Agile Methodology




location: Addison, Texas

job type: Contract

salary: $58.26 - 68.26 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

education: Bachelors



responsibilities:


  • Expert-level proficiency in latest Oracle Database version.
  • Strong Experience in SQL and PL/ SQL programming
  • Proven experience in Database Design and Data modeling (ER Diagram and Normalization)
  • Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including -
  • Query Optimization


qualifications:


  • Indexing strategies
  • Use of AWR, ASH and Explain plan, etc.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structure and background processes.
  • Tools -
  • Proficiency in TOAD and similar tools
  • Experience in OEM


skills:

  • Worked in financial domain.
  • Knowledge of shell scripting, python for automation database tasks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practice and tools like Jenkins, GIT and Datical.
  • Exposure to SQL server and MongoDB
