Scope Details

Break / Fix server support for an HPC environment running Linux. Troubleshoot / elevate tickets, request / order parts, and install parts as needed.

  • Experience with navigating Dell support, knowledge centers, etc)
  • Knows how to manage Dell servers with recent knowledge of those supporting tools
  • Knows OpenManage Essentials
  • Knows IDRAC
  • Linux OS
  • Be able to do firmware/software updates
  • BIOS upgrades
  • Know how to articulate very clearly, step by step logic and formalize frameworks to approach a problem; ie Box is down; what are the 20 steps that you should be considering
  • Needs to be proactive and logical
  • Support 247 support schedule- Onsite during business hours, on call after hours/weekends as needed
