Delphi Developer

Description:
Our client has an immediate need for a Delphi Developer
Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in a technical field
• 5 7 years of experience
• Experience with Delphi (D5 or 10 preferred- but any experience accepted)
• Experience with Android and Java
• Knowledge of application design activities, tools, and techniques; ability to utilize these to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific tools and toolkits for the
  development and support of applications
• Knowledge of and ability to define, implement changes to, and support a production
  application
• Knowledge of application testing and ability to design, plan, and execute application testing
  strategies and tactics to ensure software quality throughout all stages of application development
• Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan design,
  develop, test, implement, and maintain system development life cycle segments and phases
• Knowledge of the technical language and writing approach, and the ability to write paper-based and on-line technical reference documentation (guidelines, standards, procedures, processes, applications, etc.)
• Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques, and the
  ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical (hardware, software, application or operational) problems
• Experience with App development including multiple platforms: web, mobile, desktop, handheld, and Point of Sale (POS)
• Experience in having applications meet quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, and scalability
• Experience with Banking or Retail with Point of Sale (POS) is a plus
• Experience with C# is a plus
• Experience with Front end web development (Vue, Typescript, CSS, HTML, JavaScript) is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Able to own the development and rollout of an entire product or large project
• Identifying risks before starting major projects
• Able to provide accurate estimates for large projects
• Translating technical information into layman's terms
• Able to communicate effectively and efficiently with both management and other developers
• Able to build and maintain relationships, develop rapport, and use diplomacy
• Providing detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms
• Proposing and designing software solutions to address complex business needs
• Writing code, testing, and deploying software
• Preparing technical and procedural documentation required for software
• Maintaining and debugging software
• Actively collaborates with the team and can mentor newer developers
