Summary of position:
The Desk Side Support Technician will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users at client Headquarters as well as those remotely based across North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues for client employees in a timely and efficient manner. The role requires a efficient level of technical proficiency and excellent communication skills, as the Desk Side Support Technician will interact with users at all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide on-site technical support for end-users at the client.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
Resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime.
Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
Communicate technical information to end-users in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Document all technical support activities in the ticketing system.
Contribute to the development of knowledge articles and other support documentation.
Participate in the testing and deployment of new hardware and software.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
1+ years of experience in desktop support, including experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and desktop hardware.
Knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
