Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or similar role, preferably in a power plant or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, software applications, and network configurations.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and ensure the smooth operation of desktop and field support systems within the power plant environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide desktop support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
Perform field support tasks, including setting up and maintaining computer systems and networks within the power plant.
Respond to and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Work on a shift basis, including night shifts, and be available for on-call support and overtime as needed.
Drive to the site as required for on-site support.
