Position Summary

The Desktop Support Specialist provides first- and second-level technical support to end-users, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and network systems. This role focuses on troubleshooting, problem resolution, and delivering excellent customer service in a corporate environment.
Shift: 5 AM to 1 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve helpdesk tickets related to hardware, software, and operating system issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems and related applications.
  • Support Microsoft Office applications and other business-critical software.
  • Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions.
  • Document all support activities and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Provide guidance and training to users on best practices and system usage.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-3 years of helpdesk or desktop support experience in a corporate environment.
    • Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting.
    • Experience with hardware and software support.
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow experience is a plus).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
