Aspire IT Solutions is in a need of -

Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite, 3-4 days/week)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Overview Our Cloud Infrastructure DevOps team designs and deploys automation-first infrastructure solutions supporting SAP products and services. The role involves working across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and containerization. You'll collaborate with internal teams and government/private sector clients to deliver secure, scalable, and provider-agnostic solutions. Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform (debug, modify, and extend existing codebase).

  • Manage infrastructure with Ansible playbooks (troubleshoot and update as needed).

  • Use GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Build and deploy containerized applications with Docker/Kubernetes.

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues between environments.

  • Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and governance guides.

  • Implement monitoring, config management, and logging for multi-tenant cloud infra.

  • Apply a security-first mindset in all operations.

  • Leverage generative AI tools (where practical) to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD (e.g., Concourse, GitLab).

  • Hands-on with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform foundational services (compute, storage, IAM, networking).

  • Scripting/programming: Python, Bash.

  • Strong Linux OS skills (deployment, config, troubleshooting).

  • Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and least privilege concepts.

  • Experience in logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud environments.

  • Networking knowledge: IP routing, subnetting, DNS, TCP/IP.

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  • 5 8+ years in DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure roles.

  • Experience with Vault, identity management, Unix/Linux internals, and distributed systems.

Preferred

  • Expertise in large-scale distributed system design and troubleshooting.

  • Ability to debug, optimize, and automate.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
