DevOps Engineer
The Opportunity:

That's why we need you, a DevOps engineer who's eager to help us engineer, test, and program critical applications for our clients who need them most.

As a Sof tware Factory DevOps Engineer on our team, you'll help pipeline our sof tware development from requirements to testing in production. Your team will incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team's developers to do what they do best-innovate. You'll work with professionals to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

You Have:
  • 2+ years of experience working with Cloud te chn ologies
  • 1+ year of experience with DevOps pipeline tools and te chn ologies, including Docker, Chef, Je nk ins, Ansible, or Kubernetes
  • Experience with command line in Linux or Unix
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC certification within 6 months from date of hire


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Je nk ins, or Azure
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous automation across multiple te chn ical stacks
  • Knowledge of creating and improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commer cia l tools in public cloud environments
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Linux Shell Script

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
