Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented DevOps Network Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will hone your skills in a fast-paced environment working with a collaborative team. This position is part of a team that supports USCYBERCOM's internal command IT systems, including one-of-a-kind cyberspace operations systems. The successful candidate will have a solid IT networking background and be a key contributor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional expertise in requirements management, workflow optimization, organizational dynamics, manpower utilization and knowledge management for the Cyber National Mission Force (CNMF) Task Force (TF)
  • Coordinate and support cyberspace capability development efforts to rapidly deliver joint operational products through integrated project delivery, enabling full-spectrum cyberspace operations.
  • Coordinate maintenance support of cyber operations technologies and capabilities, including bug fixes, enhancements to systems and technologies, enhancements to cyber tools and platforms as required to match the changing technical landscape.
  • Provide operations support for fielded capabilities of ongoing USCYBERCOM efforts as well as on-site and remote support to users and administrators.
  • Support the development of training and exercise environments, systems, documentation, and scenarios as required. These exercise environments include representative networks, emulated systems, simulations, and technical scenario development including administrative, user, and educator documentation.
  • Coordinate, oversee, and perform regular tool demonstrations and training events on tools Parsons develops for the CNMF TF.
  • Assist Government leadership with implementing Command/CNMF/TF initiatives and objectives and contribute to the development of concepts of operation and doctrine pertaining to cyber operations through the advocacy for Parsons tool use or development for specific problem sets.
  • Assist the CNMF TF in communicating and socializing (e.g. drafting white papers, talking points, briefings and facilitating forums) activities between Parsons and internal stakeholders.
  • Engage Government leadership regularly to ensure consistency and accuracy regarding CNMF TF posture on time-sensitive tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph
  • 5+ years of experience in Defense and Service strategy, policy, planning, requirements management, and operations planning and execution
  • Extensive experience with DoD requirements definition process, capability requirements management, capabilities development, and systems acquisition support
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited college or university

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with CI/CD infrastructures
  • Experience using common source control or CI/CD frameworks (i.e. Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
  • Experience using automated testing frameworks like Robot framework, Pytest, and GoogleTest.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell)
  • Experience utilizing Podman/Docker
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills with a focus on the creation of technical documentation for testing
  • Experience with DoD cyber policy, strategy, doctrine and DoD implementation
  • Experience with Operational Testing and Evaluation (OT&E)
  • Program management experience
  • Interest in developing programming experience
  • Knowledge of cross-compilation and experience building/using them on various architectures (PPC, MIPS, x86, ARM, RISC-V, etc.)
  • Experience with management products like Jira and Confluence
  • Extensive experience parsing user stories or requirements to create testable objectives and measures of performance that will lead to fully tested software products
  • GIAC Cloud Security Automation Certified

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
