Description:
**Hybrid | Englewood, CO**

As a DevOps Engineer IV on this team, you will be part of a high performing video service engineering team that supports our innovative customer experiences on the mobile application, traditional video and next generation video products. This role handles complex, high priority investigations across video platforms, evaluating the needs, time and system limitations when investigating and resolving video platform issues.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $45 - $59 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Identifying fixes to defects raised.
  • Raising defects in code reviews.
  • Designing and implementing new functionality that is testable and performant with limited oversight and guidance following best practices and approved troubleshooting patterns.
  • Contributing to technical requirements and technical design documents.
  • Collaborating with other team members to identify and solve technical problems.
  • Responding to customer inquiries around the behavior of the developed software.
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation.

Experience Requirements:
Top Skills:
  • Debugging & logging utilizing Splunk, OpenSearch, & proprietary tools.
    • Development / DevOps background preferred to understand coding/dev functions
  • EXCELLANT communication/presentation skills & stakeholder management
  • Previous Technical triage / escalation resolution experience
  • Video exp a plus


Preferred Qualifications
  • Have collaborated with key stakeholders to define and develop investigative technology strategy, technology standards, roadmaps, and practices.
  • Participated in collaborations with business and technical teams to review conflicts/gaps between functional goals and existing capabilities.
  • Demonstrated understanding of software engineering and object oriented design principles.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of front-end development across Java, mobile app and/or web technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and make technical decisions in complex video platform investigations.
  • Ability to keep current with trends and technological innovations in the industry in order to contribute to the execution of proofs-of-concept for new approaches.
  • Hands on approach.


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
