Akkodis is seeking a Devops Architect for a contract with a client in Dallas, TX. Youwill be responsible for managing infrastructure automation using IaC and ensuring secure, stable deployments across hybrid environments.
Rate Range: $55/hour to 60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Devops Architect job responsibilities include:
- Design and implement scalable CI/CD pipelines for on-prem and hybrid cloud environments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, SonarQube, and Nexus.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
- Ensure system security and compliance through vulnerability management and remediation across Windows/Linux servers and AWS.
- Monitor and optimize system performance using observability tools and logging frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to troubleshoot issues and enhance infrastructure reliability.
- Maintain and upgrade enterprise DevOps platforms, ensuring stability and continuous improvement of deployment processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Proven experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines for on-prem applications using tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, and Ansible.
- Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform, with strong knowledge of security and compliance practices.
